I have a confession to make: I’m a fitness sloth. I work out at least four times a week, but every workout tires the stuffing out of me. (No pun intended.) I’ve tried all the vitamins and coffee cocktails, but there’s always this creeping yawn that sets in a couple of minutes into my workout. I feel like I’ve tried everything under God’s green earth to modify my diet to help, but alas it’s hard to get in the necessary nutrients to do a body good.
My current morning smoothies consist of throwing frozen fruits, protein powders, chia seeds and ground flaxseed together. I’m hungry an hour later.
That’s why I’m so geeked to test out the NutriBullet! I’m the gal who drools every time I go to a juice shop and see whole fruits and vegetables being tossed into the juicers like it’s nothing. Kiwis with the fuzz still on, whole oranges, kale, wheat grass...I drool every time I hear people saying they’ve just had some fabulous superfoods concoction that left them with a nutrient-full belly and energy to boot.
Energy is what I crave. Energy is what I shall look to find! I plan to juice every morning and keep track of my hunger cravings, as well as my energy levels, during workouts. Because I’m new at this whole "ALL THE FOODS!" mentality, I’ll be relying on the site’s recipes for the bulk of my creations. The Coffee Replacement drink sounds promising.
I can’t wait for the energy -- and the fun concoctions I can whip up!
