Flaxseed vs. Diabetes

It's long been known that the presence of flax seeds in the stomach helps maintain blood sugar levels in the blood stream, but a recent study shows that just one tablespoon daily of ground flax seeds for a month appears to improve fasting blood sugars, triglycerides, cholesterol, and hemoglobin A1c levels in diabetics. This tiny seed can be added to hot oatmeal, cold cereal or your Blasts drinks. I like to keep them whole when adding. They have a mild nutty flavor that you won't notice.
