I've heard a lot about the NutriBullet. What can I say, I'm a sucker for infomercials! But unlike other ones on TV that are just a bunch of hype, this one seems like the real deal with science behind it.
Over my time working in and writing about the health and fitness industry, I've read a lot about the bioavailability of foods and how inefficient our digestive systems sometimes are at getting all of the vitamins, minerals and other essential compounds out of our foods. I mean what's the point of eating a healthy diet only to have a lot of the good stuff not be fully absorbed into your body?
So that's the No. 1 reason I'm psyched to try the NutriBullet -- better nutrition and health. My No. 2 reason? Well, I consider myself a bit of a smoothie aficionado and drink one at least once a day. During my smoothie-drinking career, I've burned up a couple of blenders and even invested in a $400+ (pricey!) blender. I told you I was serious about my blenders.
In the coming weeks, I'll be trying the NutriBullet and incorporating it into my everyday routine. I'll see how it stacks up to my uber expensive blender and what the transition away from "smoothies" and to "NutriBlasts" is like. I'll also be sure to share how the product works, my thoughts on how to incorporate it into a fit lifestyle, and fun new concoctions I'm creating. (Those "boat drinks" on the blog sure did catch my eye...)
Can't wait to share my NutriBullet journey with you! Stay tuned for the nutritious deliciousness!
