How I Lost the Baby Weight!

baby weight loss transformation

While I was pregnant with my second baby boy, I had a regular diet of daily cookies, donuts and, more often than not, fast food. Needless to say, the 50 pounds I gained were not entirely baby weight (although he was 9 pounds). I thought that I would lose the weight on my own, but it was coming off very slowly, if at all.

My mother bought me the NutriBullet and said, "Just try it." I think that was my wake up call; even my mother thought I had gained too much weight! I brought it home, opened up the booklet and read it cover to cover. The 6-week plan fit right into my deadline for a family reunion we had coming up, so I thought, hey, let's try it. Week One was tough, but once I stepped on that scale and lost 4.6 pounds in the first week, I was hooked! Over the next six weeks, my tolerance for greens at every meal went up, and I even missed not having that nutritious burst of energy from eating healthy foods. I walked three times a week with my two boys in the stroller and watched my food intake (with a cheat here and there). In the end, I went from maternity pants to a size 12 and lost 17 pounds.

I've lost a total of 20 pounds to date from June 28th, and I still have 11 to 15 pounds to go to reach my goal weight. I have a NutriBlast smoothie every morning and still make the delicious recipes provided in the book, such as the Chick Pea Salad, White Bean and Veggie Soup, and Sweet Potato Cakes. I have changed my eating habits entirely and look forward to eating foods filled with energy-providing boosts and vitamins.

On a side note, my 4-month-old is now 18.8 pounds, and when I carry him around, I'm reminded of the weight I carried and know that I plan on using the NutriBullet for a long time to come!

Here is a side-by-side picture of me on May 25 (one month before I started the NutriBullet, but only 3 pounds heavier) and August 15th, 20 pounds lighter.

Where else can you find the six week plan? I just bought the 900 and it’s not in my booklet either!

I have had the nutribullett for maybe 2 years now, I use to use it with a friend but that didn't last long. I am now going through menopause and my body has taken a turn for the worse. I say worse because I have always been a small girl even after kids, but I have now but on weight that makes me miserable. I have gained a stomach, I don't eat right because I work full time and I am in school full time and I am only 41 years of age. I need a plan that I can stick to and be consistent with. Any suggestions or input I am all for it. I just reordered a bigger cup and the nutrilean everything except the machine. Hoepfully I can start on Monday and make this a success.

The questions don't get answered which makes this difficult.

Way to go. I've not lost the "baby weight" and my baby is 3!! Honestly, I never fully lost all the weight after any of the children! Very inspiring!! I'm excited to start the process. Today is day 3!
Thanks everyone! My daily regimen was simply planning out 2 weeks at a time what I was going to eat and shopping for those two weeks. I used the booklet and made pretty much every recipe in there. I used lots of frozen fruit from Costco because it was the cheaper option. Another thing I did was use protein powder instead of nuts to keep my fats down. My husband allowed each other one cheat day a week that was filled with pizza, burgers or whatever so we wouldn't fail. My favourite recipes in the book were sweet potato cakes, wild rice, and the soups. Those were easy and filling. Good luck. I know you can do it and I am still making shakes every morning over 8 months later!
