My Favorite Blast of the Week

My Favorite Blast of the Week

Now that all of my friends and family are enjoying the benefits of using the NutriBullet, we've unintentionally created a mini social club where we share our experiences, successes and our recipes with each other. Of course, the NutriBullet is all over social media and I love to hear about others experiences, but I have to admit, it's cool that the people in my inner circle can just drive over to my house to try out a new recipe.

I love the recipes posted on the NutriLiving and NutriBullet Blog sites and it's important that we share with each other our recipes, our obstacles, our struggles and our successes to help keep us motivated.

My personal goals involve avoiding a reoccurrence of cancer, reducing the consumption of refined sugars and sustaining my energy levels throughout the day. When I see a recipe posted on one of the NutriBullet sites that can help me achieve my goals, I am all over it! And when I create these new concoctions, I like to pass them along, as well.

During the summer months, I can't seem to stay hydrated no matter how much water I consume and that can zap energy. My NutriBlasts are mostly green, although I do try to change them up more often now. Recently, I just threw in whatever I had in the refrigerator along with some boosts, and it came out pretty amazing. For hours after drinking this NutriBlast, I felt hydrated, energetic and great all over. This drink is supercharged with good-for-you ingredients. So, in the spirit of sharing, here is my new favorite NutriBlast of the week!

My New Favorite Blast (this week!)

  • 1 handful of baby kale and spinach
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 celery stalk (aids in digestion and reduces inflammation.)
  • 6 red grapes (adds a little sweetness to the drink and is a great antioxidant.)
  • 1 teaspoon goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon raw almonds
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds (contains omega 3’s and fiber.)
  • 1 teaspoon of a plant-based protein powder (I used a vanilla flavor.)
  • Combination of water and coconut water to max line.

Blast for 20 seconds in your NutriBullet. I added ice afterwards.

Now don’t let the color or texture scare you! This drink is tasty and your body will reap the benefits!

For increasing hydration ability add Chia, Hemp and/or Salba (or Salvia) seeds to any nutriblast probably AFTER being blended is best. Just mix them in. Reasonably priced and easily mixed or sprinkled on foods virtually tasteless. The omega consumption is higher than blueberries . Much safer to the colon than flax seeds also.
