My First Successful New Year's Resolution

My First Successful New Year's Resolution

For the first time in my life, I was able to meet every single one of my health-related goals, thanks to the NutriBullet program.

I have to admit that after I hit my forties, I pretty much gave up on the whole New Year’s Resolution tradition. After all, the resolutions were always the same: I promised myself that I would visit the gym more often, eat healthier, and lose weight. It was almost like I was setting myself up for failure; I'd do the opposite of what my goals were.

My whole world changed after being diagnosed with cancer and spending most of 2011 in surgeries and chemotherapy treatment. Talk about a reality check! Illness has a way of making people look at life so differently and not take health for granted. At the risk of sounding cliché, a person really does reflect on how precious life is and how fragile our bodies are.

Since 2011 was the most challenging year of my life, I decided that I would give this another shot and for 2012, I made a New Year’s Resolution that I would do whatever was necessary to put my cancer ordeal behind me, detox my body from all of the chemicals, and take control over my health.

I began using the NutriBullet at the end of 2011. I knew from the very first drink that this would be the greatest resource for me in reaching my health goals, and I was right!

The immediate benefits of my NutriBlasts were the increased energy, clearer skin, and rapid hair growth; something I appreciated after chemo! The only effort on my part was to purchase the ingredients used for my NutriBlasts.

As the weeks passed and I began to feel stronger, I started a workout regimen. By the middle of 2012, I had reached my goal weight, stopped eating refined sugar and processed foods and was living off of protein, nuts, vegetables and fruit; I changed my entire diet without even trying. I never thought that I would enjoy going grocery shopping. Now, the idea of seeking out the best ingredients to use in my NutriBullet has become a way of life. My refrigerator is full with fresh and organic food.

So what's my New Year’s resolution for 2013? - To do exactly what I did in 2012! I also want to share with people this great tool for helping reach our goals for better health; it couldn’t be any easier!

The NutriBullet and the program for me have proven to be what the doctor ordered… literally.
