Oh My Goji!

Oh My Goji!

At first glance, the goji berry may seem like any other dried, shriveled raisin, but look a little closer and it’s pretty much the holy grail of fruit, full of radiant beauty and vitality. These chewy, slightly tangy, yet sweet, dried superfood berries promote flawless aging and life energy. Here’s why:

Great source of protein and minerals! Goji berries, also known as wolfberries, contain 19 different amino acids, the building blocks of protein, including all 8 essential amino acids. Zinc, iron, copper, calcium, germanium, selenium, and phosphorus are all found in these tiny berries.

Organic! Goji berries are organic and free of sulfites, which have been known to aggravate asthma symptoms.

Just like an animal’s ability to withstand various climates and growing conditions, goji berries pass along their adaptogenic quality to whoever consumes them! Adaptogens normalize the body, helping strengthen areas of weakness. Gojis also support the adrenal and endocrine glands, primarily responsible for stress-induced hormone release.

Improves and protects vision! The goji berry is extremely rich in carotenoids, containing more beta-carotene than carrots. Beta-carotene is converted in the body to retinol, vitamin A, which is required for vision. They also contain two key antioxidants for healthy eyesight: lutein and zeaxanthin.

B vitamin-rich! Vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin) and B6 all help promote proper breakdown of nutrients for energy production.

Extends your life! As we age, our human growth hormone (HGH) levels naturally decrease, a common symptom of aging. Goji berries actually help stimulate the production of this hormone, making it the world’s greatest anti-aging superfood berry. The benefits of HGH also include reduction of body fat, better quality sleep, improved memory, faster healing, heightened libido, and a youthful appearance.

Reduces acidity. Goji berries have been shown to reduce acidity, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar imbalance in diabetics and risk of cancer! Need we say more?

Raw! Our goji berries are handpicked at their nutritional peak, ozone-washed and shade-dried at raw temperatures to lock in the living enzymes.

Increases Qi! Goji berries are known to increase Qi (chi), or life energy, in those who eat them. Qi is the Chinese term for the yang-type of energy that governs movement and heat. The balance of Qi is held to be essential for obtaining good health in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Eaten with cacao nibs, this great combination is not only flavorful, but provides a powerful boost of antioxidants! When not tossed in a NutriBlast, this combo, along with nuts and seeds, makes a great, natural, on-the-go snack! Goji berries have been shown to contain 2-4x the amount of antioxidants found in blueberries.

Strengthens and restores vital organs! Gojis have shown to be great for the kidneys, liver, digestive system, adrenals, skin, and eyes.

Do the berries need to be soaked in water prior to use in the Nutrbullet?
Can you please advise as to how often this Blast should be consumed for the best benefit? Thank you!
