Preventing Diabetes by Eating More

Bean consumption actually serves as a marker for a healthy diet: beans are associated with lower body weight, waist circumference, risk of obesity and more. Now, they're shown to help prevent prediabetes, the precursor to Type 2 Diabetes.

Beans can easily be incorporated into your daily diet, so what are you waiting for? A new study actually found that those who eat more beans have a higher likelihood of preventing prediabetes through a higher caloric diet than their counterparts.
