Apple Juice

Apple juice is extracted from apples which eliminates the fiber and concentrates the natural sugars. Apple juice is a good hydration tool, although it has been known to help ease constipation and should be consumed in limited quantities. If serving to children, dilute with water to reduce sugar content. Apple juice can be used in place of water to add sweetness to your NutriBlast.

Selection process:

For the least processed apple juice, it is recommended to juice your own using a juicer. Choose organic apples since conventional are one of the highest in pesticides. If buying prepackaged, it will most likely contain added sugars and will have less nutrients as they are lost during the pasteurization process so look for the purest form possible.
