Endive is a leafy green closely related to radicchio and chicory; it's slightly bitter flavor pairs perfectly in almost any Blast and it can be eaten raw or cooked. It's full of nutrients, including vitamin A, folate, vitamin C and dietary fiber, making it an excellent heart disease fighter!

Selection Process

Look for endive heads that are crisp and with tips that are a pale yellow-green color. Endive is usually seasonal all year, but peaks in late fall to early spring.
