Selection Process

Broccoli sprouts can be found in most health food stores or vegetarian restaurants. They are sold in small, square plastic containers. Only buy those that have been kept at refrigerator temperatures and those that are crisp, clean, moist and sans any yellowing or rotting. Eat within 4-5 days. Sprouts are known to contribute to food-borne illnesses so be sure to rinse your sprouts thoroughly with water before consuming.
