Just taste the goodness! These little juicy seeds pop right in your mouth and are an excellent, antioxidant-rich addition to any Blast. Low in calories and high in fiber, they're also great for weight management and are rich in essential vitamins C and K, great for immune system health.
Pomegranate seeds are disease-fighters, high in phytochemicals and particularly high in polyphenols, which research shows offer heart health and anti-cancer benefits.
Choose pomegranates that are round, bright, and heavy for their size. Pomegranates are typically in season from October to February. To get the seeds out, cut your pomegranate in half (or simply score the surface in quarters), soak it in a bowl of water for about 2 minutes, break the fruit apart, and then dig out the seeds with your fingers while still underwater. The membranes will have loosened and the seeds will easily fall out.
