Hiya - I have had my NB for bout 2 months...and maybe a week...now. I have digestive issues, but I will spare you the specifics. LOL. I have had these issues for years, and as per the norm, doctors were talking of/recommending TOO drastic of measures. My symptoms worsened considerably the end of last year...and nothing was working...I even went wheat free, than added gluten free, then added alcohol free ( I survived this last one better than I thought I would...haha) and finally I eliminated all grains even rice, corn, quinoa, millet, etc. I was a little less uncomfortable, which bodes badly for the grains, but still not resolution to the bigger issues. So instead of opting for the drastic options I decided to try the NB. As many of you,  I used to juice, and their was this yummy cleansing beet, carrot, lemon, grapefruit, ginger one that I really loved....carrot, apple, celery and ginger was awesome too. After a week or so of juicing I noticed that my nails got much stronger (they are weak and bendy normally... :P), so I thought maybe I was not getting good absorbtion. The NB seemed like a good next step...without all the mess and cleanup (especially with beets). Within 3 days I had positive results, and I have had a NB for breakfast everyday (well, I missed one day).  About 6 weeks in, my postives reversed abit, but my symptoms were still better than pre-NB! I have since went to a nutritionist and am going to get a food allergy test for 150 items. She told me that I should stop adding the Chia seeds and Flax seeds for a time and see if my results turned around again. I did not realize that they were like Metamucil...soluble fiber, which is an issue for my body. I have been using both of them and up'd the dosage from 1 to 2 TBL. Maybe removing them for a time will be the clincher!

Whatever my particular results with my symptoms I feel better and am sleeping better. I love most of my blasts, and have learned  A BIT on what I can do to make each outcome platable. I am more succesful than not. LOL. Like some of you, my experience trying to make my past juicer recipes was not great and quickly found that they were NOT HAPPENING with the NB! I can always revisit my juicer if I feel the need though, but I am very happy with my blast outcomes. Todays blast for instance...1 handful baby kale, 1 medium red chard leaf w/stem, 5-6 red grapes, 1/4 of a large avocado, 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, 3/4 of  small white peach, 1 asparagus stalk, 1-1/2 pitted medjool dates, 2 TBL Hemp seeds, 1-1/2 tsp. goji berries, 1/2 tsp. Organic Raw Maca powder, 10 walnuts, 1/2 c. unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 c. pure coconut water and spring water to MAX line...was YUMMY and CREAMY. I added more spring wter and stirred it up to thin it out though. :P My daughter even liked this one. lol. I hoop to hear more wonderful recipes and insights from this sight, and maybe meet some people and hear their experience.

Welcome! I'm so glad you've found Blasting to be helpful. Your recipe looks tasty! Thank you for sharing your story :)
My husband surprised me when he walked through the door last night w/a NutriBullet for me! I was in the middle of making dinner Mac & Cheese w/Ham (I know not the best thing to be eating, but that's going to change :) He knows I've been researching it for 2wks. & that I was serious. I made our first blast last night, it was good, but I needed to get more greens, fruits, nuts, etc. Which I did today. I must say I'm over whelmed by how many blast there are to make! I want to do this right. Do I stick w/the same one for a week, can I substitute walnuts w/almonds, etc. I thought I learned it all but there is still so much to learn! Thank you & happy blending!!

Variety is the spice of life! Switch it up to reap the benefits of various fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, and superfoods! Feel free to modify recipes by making similar substitutions (almonds vs. walnuts, etc.), omissions, or additions. Tailor it to your needs...for example, need more protein?...Add a scoop of hemp seeds to your Blast! The fun thing about the NutriBullet are there are not too many rules. Use mostly greens, some fruits to make it tasty, a liquid of choice, and some boosts to up your nutritional bang for your buck :) It's so much fun and delicious. You're going to love it :)
