3 weeks old, now intermittently stops turning on...

Not sure what is going on with my product. It worked very well up until yesterday, when it suddenly would not turn on. It eventually worked, but as I said in the subject, I have only owned this for 3 weeks, it should not be failing me so soon. Am I able to return it without the original box? (Bought from Fingerhut, btw...)
