Hi -- I enjoy putting raw ginger in my drinks, but struggle with the thready, woody part. Does anyone have any suggestions to address this? I don't want to strain  because I do want all the other good fiber, etc.

When I use raw ginger I like to give a quick chop before I throw it in. This helps decrease the "thready and woody" part of the ginger.
