Hi Juan and hello everbody. I just started using my NB a week ago. I am enjoying the experience.
I just wanted to say that although the recipes look great, I cannot use them as is. I had to change them before the very first try. I knew there was too much fruit. I am a type 2 diabetic for 25 yrs. After my first drink, I had to reduce the fruit even more. Unfortunately my blood sugar still went sky high and my stomach sloshed around for a long time. I ate a slice of whole wheat bread a couple hours later and the sloshing stopped. I had to reduce the fruit even more. Next I used a half of a slightly green small banana, 1/3 to 1/2 a pear, and a few berries including frozen cranberries. I added one Tbsp. of flax seed. Still tweeking the recipe. Today I left the banana out entirely. I split the NB drink in half and drink the other half about a couple hours later. Seems to be working so far.
