I am a 47 year old woman.  I am 5"8" and about 196 lbs.  Up until I was about 25 years old I could not gain a pound if I tried.  I weighed 135 pounds.  I had a baby and gained a little weight but not much.  When I hit 160 pounds I thought there was something wrong and went to the doctor.  I had a thick neck and I was absolutely exhausted all the time. Skin was dry, hair was falling out and I was cold all the time.  I was about 30.  I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.  Once I started medication I lost about 15 pounds.  In my 30's the weight just kept creeping up even though I was very active and exercised regularly.  My highest weight was 206 lbs...it was very difficult for me as I never had to really worry about my weight.  My thyroid levels were all over the place for awhile.  I got into protein shakes and eatling light.  Giving up pop and junk food.  I never go out to eat for lunch unless I have to take a business meeting (which I avoid as much as possible).  When I did go out to eat I was very careful not to get added fat and calories in my order.  Light soups, salads etc...  Still not much of a budge in my weight.  On top of it all my feet starting hurting like nobody's business best thing the doctor could diagnose is plantar's fasciitis but he was not so sure. I sought two other doctors who said the same thing. I believe it is the weight my foot problems make it so difficult to stand for periods of time.  Walking is not a problem until I stop walking.  But I do love to walk so I continue to do it.

My husband bought me the NutriBullet last week.  He thought it would be great for me with my protein shakes.  I don't watch TV much so did not know there was an infomercial on this product.  I had no idea there was a healthy eating/drinking plan with this.  I don't think I got the 6 week transformation guide that you all are talking about.  I have gone through the literature and read lots of reviews, forums, articles and success stories regarding the nutriblasts.  I had my first nutriblast yesterday 3/27/14.  It was the Skinny Blast....not bad I may have went overboard on the spinach.  I tried the Fat Burning Boost this morning.  Can't say I cared for it much....again I may have went overboard on the spinach (it was suppose to be kale but I did not want to invest a ton of money right away).  I am a picky eater but I did finish both nutriblasts completely so they were not awful.  They are quite filling I am sitting at my desk right now drinking lemon water and do not feel like eating at all pretty content.  I will be honest that my biggest concern is flatulence...yup I said it!  Many veggies and fruit cause that for me....but I keep eating them in small bursts to ensure I am getting my nutrients.  That is why I am a bit hesitant to go full force into a 7 day cleanse....at my job I cannot afford to be making lots of trips to the bathroom.....It happens  I have not seen that addressed much in my readings through this site.

I am very impressed with the results others are seeing and am very glad that many have been able to be successful on their journeys.  I am hoping this may help me boost my metabolism and feel good.  I am typically a happy person but the only thing bothering me right now is my stubborn weight...my belly seems to be the worst and am hoping to decrease its size.

Well thanks for reading and I am looking forward to trying more recipes and tweeking some to suit my taste.  Have a great day and good luck on your goals whatever they are!

Welcome juliann66 :) So happy to hear you're enjoying the experimenting with different recipes. You'll find ones you love and others not so much. I still make some that are just so-so. Knowing that they are all good for me makes me love them anyway. The 6 week plan is outlined in the Natural Healing Foods book if this was bought thru our customer service or in the User Guide and Recipe book that comes with all units. We have a 3, 5, and 7 day cleanse in our Cleanse forum - check them out to see if you might be interested! It will take a while for your body to adjust to a sudden increase in fiber - keep drinking plenty of water and take it slow. These two articles may help. Happy Blasting :) http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/feeling-bloated http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/getting-things-moving-fiber
Thank you Krista...I adjusted the blasts and they are working well. I also read both articles...got me clicking through and reading other articles.

Ordered my NB, but haven't received it yet. Birthday present to self, also ordered one as b-day present for friend. She has been battling several forms of cancer and I hope this helps her. I am inspired by many of the testimonials given. Hoping to get my adult son to join me as well as my boyfriend. I would love to be in touch with a NB "buddy" to walk this journey with me!
Hi I am a newbie. I got my NBHi I am a newbie. I got my NB last weekend. I am starting slowly. I am interested in the 3 day cleanse and a plan to get rid of the processed food and junk food. Would someone know of the best greek yogurt plain or with fruit that has no cholesterol and the least sugar? I am battling high cholesterol right now. I have tried several of the statin meds but I have a reaction to al the ones the doc has prescribed so am working on diet.

Hello! Fellow Blasters have said that the recent 5 day cleanse was their favorite so maybe give that one a try and if you only want to do 3 of those days then that is good too! For yogurt - this type of food will not be cholesterol free. All animal-based foods contain cholesterol. For a cholesterol-free version you can try an almond milk or coconut milk based yogurt (however those have lower protein content). For a sugar-free version always look for an unsweetened, plain flavor and then you can add flavors yourself like berries or a touch of honey! The 5 Day plan can be found here: http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/topics/clean-2014-cleanse-and-shopping-list :)

As Krista mentioned below the 5 day cleanse is a great place to start: http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/cleanse-forums/clean-2014-new-years-cleanse-162014
