Oats, Lentils & Beans in Smoothies - How?

How Do you add oats, lentils & beans (kidney, pinto, adult etc) into a smoothie? ie: must we boil/cook some how prepare them?
For oats you can simply toss in the rolled or instant variety. You must cook steel cut or anything larger. Beans and lentils MUST be cooked before you add to a Blast. It's easy to use canned and rinsed beans or if you have the time, use a pressure cooker.
