I never ate breakfast or lunch (many years).... Got The Nutri Bullet and very happy because I am getting fruits, vegetables and seeds I couldn't digest before in a breakfast blast... But I seem to be putting on weight!!!! I need to lose about 80 pounds, any suggestions.... I want to add a lunch shake but am hesitant... I eat approximately 4-6 oz of beef, pork, chicken or fish plus a small potatoe or other side dish at dinner... I know I don't over eat but am not sure how to get 1200 calories into my diet and not gain weight...

for weight loss u need to do more veggies than fruits. it might be difficult to do that right away since it might take time to get used to the veggies. i would also recommend to start to exercise even it its just walking to start off. i already lost 50 lbs on my own. i am trying to lose at least another 50 pounds. i been blasting since jan 1 and lost 5 lbs.
Yes, I try both things but with sub below temps here its a little difficult... During summer I try to walk 4 miles a day... Strenuous exercise is hard because of my asthma...
I agree more veggies less fruit. Also there are guidelines in your book about what starches you should eat with meals. If you are eating protein for dinner I would stay away from potatoes and instead eat raw or steamed vegetables. It's harder for your body to break down starches and proteins together. You don't have to cut out potatoes all together I would just eat a baked potato at lunch with a salad instead. See page 60 in your user guide.
hmmm, didn't know that about starches and protein... My body doesn't digest raw or cooked vegetables well, that is why the nutribullet has been such a blessing for me...
If you haven't read my post on recommendations this may help you with the weight gain. http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/topics/if-you-are-new-nutribullet-and-need-lose-weight Let us know how you are doing Healthy wishes Wally Bishop C.N.C.
Interesting... I to, have gained weight and I exercise 4-5 days a week, plus get in a good bike ride over the weekend (15-30 miles) My body is stalled at the moment.. not sure what else I need to do.
Rob sometimes during a stall we have to shock our bodies by either doing some very vigorous exercise or by fasting for a day. You may want to try intermitting fasting. I don't recommend it as a normal way of eating but for a week or two and then done every couple of months it can have great benefit. I do this for a week about once a month. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2013/08/06/a-beginners-guide-to-intermittent-fasting/ Healthy wishes Wally Bishop C.N.C.
