Hi I'm rob I'm 40 male with diabetes type 2 and fibromyalgia. I have a couple of questions I'd like help with. 1) can it handle ice cubes? 2) how long should I blitz for? 3) and lastly any good recipes ppl want to share? Thanks for your time reading this hope we all share and communicate real soon
You may use ice cubes (no more than 25% of ingredients) and you still must use a liquid. I prefer to use frozen fruit for a nice chilled NutriBlast! Most recipes are smooth after 30 seconds, however some require up to 60. Do not run the machine longer than one minute at a time. On our recipes page, we have some great diabetic-friendly Blast ideas: http://www.nutriliving.com/recipes/search/keyword/diabetes And here are some suggestions for fibromyalgia symptoms: http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/blasting-fight-fibromyalgia If taking medications and to be sure these recs are appropriate for your condition, clear any new dietary changes w/ your Dr.
