Fatigue is in my opinion one of the most difficult side effects to manage during treatment. I found that my greatest success in battling fatigue was to be proactive and address the symptoms before they became overwhelming.

There are actions that you can take to help mimimize fatigue. One of the most important things to know is that if you eat right and get in some  physical activity, you will get some relief and not end up in bed all day.

If you eat foods high in sugar and carbs, it can have an adverse effect. Try eating foods that provide energy such as vegetables, fruits, nuts and protein. (As long as they are on your approved foods list)

The NutriBullet has proved to be a valuable asset to many cancer patients battling fatigue symptoms. This is a perfect opportunity to make easy to consume liquid meals high in essential nutrients to keep energy levels up.

Eating well and getting outside for some vitamin D and whatever physical activity you can handle can help you manage fatigue.
