Really excited I started today Nutriblasting here is what I used.

2 handfuls of Spinach

1 carrot

3 tablespoons of rolled dry oats, I milled them first into powder

1 and a half tablespoons of Flax Seeds milled in to powder

2 Small Granny Smith Apples

after I blended this I added Ice and blended that in

it was a little thick but the Ice helped

it was pretty tasty.

would like to hear your thoughts on my Nutriblast

wanting to get that Cholesterol level down I figure apples and flax seeds are the way to go

any suggestions i'll be more then happy to hear them.

thank you

Here is to healthy living :)

LouieBlu, glad you enjoyed your Blast! The oats, apples and flax seed are great additions to a cholesterol-lowering NutriBlast. They contain a great amount of soluble fiber, which helps bind cholesterol and remove it from your body! Grapes, strawberries, and citrus fruits also contain pectin, a type of soluble fiber most noted in apple skins, that lowers LDL. Check out this link from Harvard that distinguishes the breakdown of fiber found in several foods. http://huhs.harvard.edu/assets/file/ourservices/service_nutrition_fiber.pdf
This looks like a really tasty NutriBlast! I really like the idea of milling the oats into powder first before blasting them in the main drink!
It is tasty had a second one today but a subbed one of the apples for a banana even more tasty lol, I did some investigating on the oats first because I wanted to make sure I was gonna get the same benefits check out this article. http://www.livestrong.com/article/412378-is-eating-uncooked-oatmeal-healthy/
Thanks a bunch Krista for the info, I have noticed as well my blood pressure is awesome I haven't had to take a pill (Lisinopril) for lowering it in 2 days, I read up on the Spinach it helps to lower blood pressure with its own natural protein called Peptides, I did speak with my Doctor and he told me to keep doing what I'm doing and he wants to see me in a couple of weeks for blood test, I am doing one Nutriblast a day I would like to get to 2, I like the Idea of more fruit for my second blast. Thanks again Louie P.S. I also milled the Flax Seeds, I read an article stating to get the benefits from them grind them up or they usually just go right through you without absorbing the omegas and other nutrients http://www.flaxseedshop.com/content/Milled-Flax-Seed.asp
