My 82 year old mother is a diabetic and she can't have any citrus fruit. I wanted her to try the dandelion blast can she have it without the orange or is there a substitue fruit that can be added in place of the orange. Also she has been diagnosed with cancer can this be a good drink for her to drink.

Thank You,

You could try using pear or apple as a substitute, otherwise she could have it without the orange, I am just not sure how it would taste. Veggies and fruits are loaded with phytonutrients and anti-oxidants which are great for clearing harmful cells out of the body. I would also focus on alkaline foods like dark leafy greens, lemons, limes, spirulina, fermented veggies, cauliflower, garlic, sea veggies, sprouts and broccoli. This article has some great lower carb Blasts that would be great to include: http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/blasting-low-carb-diet
