Hi, I'm Matt! I am 43yrs old and I live in Melbourne (originally from Guildford, UK).

Ok, I thought I would bite the Bullet(!) and give this a go because my Mum recommended it.

Two handfuls spinach, 1 pear, 1 banana, 2 cuts of pineapple, tsp honey, 3 tsps Quinoa, 2 tsp Chia seeds, 2 tsp ground LSA mix (linseed, sunflower, almond) and top with water to MAX

It tastes alright, but boy, it looks awful and I don’t really like the texture!

You brain kind of sends messages that you shouldn’t be drinking it and you have to fight yourself to drink it!!! Did you have that? Does it just get easier after a while?

The other thing is the spinach...I kinda know this is the whole point (half veg leaf and half fruit) but it makes the whole drink green and look yuck!! Did you have the same feeling? Did you drop the veggies or change recipe?

One extra question...when you made your first ones, did you find them better to drink thick? or, is it better when they are more watery?

Hmmm, a few questions there...any help or advice much appreciated.

Kind regards, Matt :)

I've had my NB Pro 900 since last week and I finally opened it up and used it for the first time this morning. I made the energy blast that came on the instruction card and mines was a little too thick and I found out that sipping on it wasn't good because it thickened up even more. The taste wasn't bad probably because I was use to juicing from a couple years ago. I knew going into this that the blasts weren't going to taste good like the good tasting drinks that are bad for us. :) So with that in mind I knew it would be best to just chug it down like a protein shake and not think about color, taste, texture, etc. then when you finish your blast wash it down with some ice water. Then enjoy the veggie burbs later. :)
Matt, just reading what all you included in yours I'd not be able to stomach that combo. Mostly because it'd be way too thick and sweet (all that fruit AND honey!). I prefer watery and mostly, if not all, veggies. If ever I've included banana I might add 1" (even with that small amt it'll create creaminess). I freeze my coconut water into cubes and will add one or two to impart a bit of sweetness. For me, a really yummy blast would be 1/2 spinach and kale, perhaps 1/2 green apple, couple orange slices, flaxmeal, carrot, celery, cucumber, ginger, lime juice, coconut water, water. (I personally love blasts that are intense green...or other vibrant colors.) A super good one I made yesterday was wedge of red cabbage, 1/4 beet, few blueberries, 1/4 pear, spinach, splash of lime juice, water. As you can see, very light on fruits, and a looser consistency. Lots of trial and error in finding combos that you enjoy so I guess I've been lucky, after two weeks of blasting, that every one has been quite de-lish. Good luck with your journey!
I Started my nutribullet on the 11 of July I can truly feel the different in how much energy I have now.The color green is now my friend taste great.

The color is kind of yucky, I've been drinking one every morning for breakfast for the last month & a half. Since I drink it on the way to work I got a lidded cup that fits in the car cup holder, it's opaque so I can't see the stuff, you also get used to it after a while. I like to add ice to mine after mixing too. This mornings was baby spinach & kale, banana, dollop vanilla yogurt, frozen mixed cherries, blueberries, strawberries, flax seed, superfood superboost, water to the max line. Pretty good. Some mornings I use unsweetened almond milk instead.
