This is perfect for green food lovers who perhaps, like me, want their Nutriblast tasty but not too overly sweet for  whatever reason.  It's really the perfect blend.  Great for weight loss.  Packed full of long-lasting energy, fiber, vital nutrients.  I use all organic, raw,  well-rinsed fruits and vegetables for this recipe for optimal results.

Use the large cup.

1 large handful of kale, 1 large handful of fresh spinach, 1 large handful of fresh parsely,  4  - 1/2" round slices of cucumber,  4 - 1/2" round slices of zucchini squash, 1 stalk of celery (preferably with green leafy top)  1/2 of an avocado, 1 T. Chia seeds,  1 Tsp Maca powder, 1 capsule of kelp supplement (emptied and the gel capsule discarded) 2 rings of freshly sliced (no sugar added) pineapple.  Don't worry.  It will all fit in there perfectly.  Just press it down gently.  Fill to the "Max" line with a good quality coconut water (no sugar added)  and then add a small dollop of raw honey.

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

Pineapple is the best fruit ever! It's amazing how just a little bit adds so much flavor and tartness. I'm working my way up with the greens, so I'll have to try this one! Sounds yummy.
I agree about the pineapple. Love it. It's great for digestion. And it blends perfectly with the natural sweetness added by the coconut water. I really think you're going to enjoy this one. Another thing i've discovered: Save the pineapple juice separately. Then later, when the kids are asleep, the house is quiet, after a warm bath is to take the pineapple juice and blend it with unsweetened coconut milk with a tiny, tiny splash of rum-flavored baking extract and a couple of ice cubes for a delicious and harmless, non-alcohol Pina Colada. = )
It looks like this recipe packs some punch! What do you like most about this particular recipe?
The well-balanced flavors. Especially, for this veggie lover. Creamy, smooth, sweet enough, but not too sweet. I get an amazing long-lasting energy boost and a good calorie burn. I usually drink this in the morning before cycling 60-90 minutes. I'm finding that incorporating similar colors is more palatable to me. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries together. Peach, mango, carrot, papaya. Pears, bananas, pineapple. Avocado, kiwi, etc. It's all trial and error, i guess, as we discover works best for each of us and then share what we've learned along the way. Let me know if you try this and if you liked it or not. = )
While I'm a huge advocate of "eating the rainbow"...I Love your idea of combining similar colors. Those combinations sound delicious :) Thanks for the idea. I hope you don't mind me using it for those who are having trouble finding the right combinations!
Thank you, Krista. Absolutely. Share away. I think combining similar colors is not only easier, but also more visually appealing, as well as a little more palette pleasing. And i still do eat the rainbow. By simply drinking different color combinations throughout the day. = )
I love adding Pineapple to my blasts. One of my favorite combos right now is Spinach and Pineapple with Green Tea. It gives such a great combo of flavors in the mouth when drinking it!
Ooooh. That sounds good, too. Thanks for the suggestion.
