Healing Foods Day for Me!

Hi Everyone !

I've used my NutriBullet for a few months but didn't follow any plan and nor did I shed the weight I need to get rid of.

Yesterday I checked out the "Healing Foods" area of this site.  Decided on which foods I'd add to my shopping list and off I went to the store.

Today I had my shake with shitake mushroom in it!  Also added in some spinach and canteloupe.  Lunch was a peanut butter and banana sandwich on gluten free bread.  Snacked on snap peas.  Sipped water with cucumber slices in it.  Supper was a stir fry of bok choy, onions, celery, shitake mushrooms, and some garlic for a bit of flavour.  Had this with bbq'd chicken sausages.

Every time I wanted something sweet I ate a snap pea.

Now I have to figure out what to pack for tomorrow's lunch.  I'm thinking I'll make a shake with banana and something - will check out recipes and then freeze it overnight for a cool, on-the-run breakfast

I"m so glad there is this forum as well as all the other amazing info on this site and it's all given as a gift!!

My goal is to get healthier, shed weight, reduce or eliminate the inflammation in my body, lower my blood pressure (not too bad at 130/70) and be more relaxed because of it. all.

I'm a work-a-holic who owns her own business and I'm far from being a kid.
