Hello.

I've just regisered for this site after receiving my nutribullett.  I was hoping that the website would accept my units UK serial number for registration, and it did :)

For my first blast i tried the receipe 'Apple Blossom'.  Sadly, it tasted revolting!  Not sure why tho, i followed the guide to the letter.  50% spinach, 1 apple, and the juice of half a lime.  I did cheekily add some flaxseed which was only 1 teaspoon full, Could that have been it??  I couldnt stomach it and had to pour it down the sink!  Tried again with 50% spinach, some blueberries, strawberries and a banana which didnt taste too bad, but it wasnt exactly the taste sensation i was expecting lol.  any tips??

Did you fill with water or other liquid to the max line? Some apples tend to taste mealy when blasted especially if they are older. Don't think the flax seeds would make it taste bad, I add some to mine 3 or 4 times a week without issue.
We would suggest to keep experimenting until you find the blast that you like. Try different combinations of fruits and vegetables. Also, try different greens. A good tip would be to add some banana or pineapple to your blasts. They will sweeten it up. Especially, if you are not happy with the taste of your blasts, they really seem to help. Best of luck with your blasting!
Hey and thanks for the replies. I used water to the max line, and the apples i picked up were golden delicious. I have to admit to feeling a little deflated now. I was really looking forward to getting into it, and after watching the adverts for it on HighStreet TV and the shopping channel I bought it from (Ideal World) where they all taste great and everyone raves about them. Don't get me wrong tho, i have no intention of giving up, i really want all the benefits that using the Nutribullet brings with it. I also bought some Wheatgrass powder. What is the best way to use this with which blasts? thanks for reading :)

Try this one!! It'll get you back on the bandwagon... A handful of spinach 1/2 frozen banana 3-4 slices peach 1/2 cup frozen pineapple About 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes A drop of vanilla extract A sprinkle of cinnamon 1/2 cup coconut water Unsweetened almond milk to the MAX line Just like a pina colada in a way, but way more nutritious :)
Just got home from work, and i'm already craving another blast lol what do I do with Wheatgrass powder please?

You can add 1/2 tsp - tsp to your favorite Blast. I would start with 1/2 tsp because it can have a strong flavor.
If you use coconut water and/or pineapple juice or orange juice, it will sweeten it up and still be healthy. Honey or agave syrup, vanilla extract or a flavored protein powder also helps.
Try this Nutriblast. It's really good. It's from The 5 day cleanse GROWING NUTRIBLAST • 1 cup spinach • ½ cup cucumber slices • 1 pear (core and seeds removed) • ½ lemon (peeled) • 1 small orange (peeled) • 10 raw almonds • Coconut water to the max line and extract Enjoy
thanks for all the advice and tips guys! Bought some pineapple and it does make a difference :) I have also found the goji berries do too :)
I have a client with "the nothing tastes good" attitude. Added a tsp. manuka honey and it's "great" now, lol. I agree with pineapple and or banana. I have yet to make a mix/blast without it. Happy blasting! The only idea of bad taste flax would be if they went rancid. I use chia seeds since they seem to last longer and are less fussy about storage in my area.
Thanks for starting this thread, it's helped me. I am having the same issues. I just received mine two days ago, and I'm having problems making one that I can tolerate! I'll try some of the suggestions in this thread and hopefully I won't have to pour any more down the drain!! Thanks again.
