Hi everyone

I'm Jane from South Wales in the UK. I've had my NB for about a week and it's great. I've had blasts every day and also used it to make marinades and soup. It's a fantastic homogeniser. Please may I ask how some of you plan your blasts - do you just go with what you feel like on the day, or do you create a planner based on your health/activity needs?  I've been stickingto a basic 'recipe' from the beginning but can see that I need to vary it if I'm not going to get bored.

I also made the mistake of putting a heaped teaspoon of spirulina in one blast!  Yuk!  I'm not saying that I won't use it again, but the image of the green frog spawn like substance that I forced down will stay with me for at least a couple of weeks :-)

Hahah, spirulina can be some strong stuff! As long as you are getting a good mix of veggies in your Blast, there is no real plan you need to follow. Do what feels good for you body and try and listen to what your body may be craving. When you are blasting, the more veggies, the better!
Thanks Sarah. I've been going with the flow and things are going well. I definitely feel 'lighter' when having blasts - not as in losing weight, I just don't feel weighed down with food any more. Thanks again Jane
Hi Jane, I usually don't planHi Jane, I usually don't plan my blasts. I keep a variety of greens and change them up every time. One thing I have learned since I started blasting is if you put 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in with your blast, you will not get any foam. Just soak them in water for 5-10 minutes before adding them in. They will form a gel coating around them. I make a large blast since I'm not the only one drinking them, so I mix one large cup of veggies and always get a thick layer of foam. I just decided to try chia seeds since I read all of its benefits and not a trace of foam. Happy accident :) I made the mistake of putting Psyllium husk in a blast...never again haha. Happy blasting!
