Just made the Mello Yello blast and it tasted good. I just used one of the recipes off this site.
the kale may be the one that makes the taste a litle bitter may be using less kale thill you get the hang of it read that a slice of lemon is good to mask the flavor. teh main thing is doing it and if you domt mind the track dont matter. hang in there it will be all good,
Hi I haven't used my NB yet just getting ready....don't want to be disapointed. I understand that it is best to drink freshly blended. Are we to drink one large container or should I be using the smaller container and use a smaller amount of the recipe?
I had surgery in March 2014 I am recovering well. I will be having one more surgery to reconnect my colon hopefully in the near future. Can any of these drinks help me get ready so I can go through this healthier. I know I will be back in the hospital for a short time and probably be on meds. Thank you for any information you can give me.

If you are going to use it as a meal replacement I would suggest using the tall cup so that you stay full longer. If you are using it as an afternoon or mid-morning snack, I would suggest using the short cup to keep calorie intake a bit lower.

I would include recipes heavy in green and veggies. Using lower glycemic fruits can be helpful as well like blueberries, cherries, apples, pears, figs, apricots and grapefruits in addition to slightly higher glycemic fruits that contain high amounts of vitamin C like lemons, strawberries and oranges.
I recently bought mine and made my first drink, the Toxic Cleansing blast and it made me keep licking my teeth, the drink was clinging to them as I was drinking it, does the mix thin out the longer you run the machine or is this the way it is and maybe just use a straw like in the NB pictures? Any advice is much appreciated

I always use a straw, but you don't have to. Some Blasts are thicker than others and that depends on the ingredients. Check out our FAQ#2 here http://nutribulletblog.com/faq/ to help you thin it out!
Just got my new Nutri Bullet Rx for Christmas. Been wanting to try this for some time but reading through the recipes and ingredients I'm beginning to wonder one thing...Why does eating healthy have to be so dog gone expensive?
Add sweeter fruits. If you are incorporating greens like broccoli and kale make sure you add at least 50% of sweet fruit (banana, grapes, PEARS, apple etc). dontoombs wrote: I made my first smoothie last night red kale pinapple rasberrys  grapes and water  it was horrable but i drank ihow do i start if everything tast that bad it's not going to work / Please give me some pointers
I think this will be easier in the summer with my local farmers market! I am using frozen ingredients and wonder if that is okay?
