Can you put ice cubes in the nutribullet?   Would it damage the blades??

Hi, You can use ice in theHi, You can use ice in the NutriBullet. Another great idea is to use frozen fruit. They will make the NutriBlast cold without having to use ice. Happy Blasting!
Can I make Nutriblast recipes ahead and freeze them? If so, it would be nice to find cups with lids for the freezer.
You can freeze a NutriBlast and thaw it the night before. Enzymes hold up pretty well in the cold freezer (just not in the heat), so freezing is an option. Depending on the ingredients in your NutriBlast, it may keep in the freezer for a few weeks if sealed in an airtight container. When freezing your NutriBlast, do not store it in the NutriBullet cup. Your NutriBlast should be transferred from the cup to an appropriate freezer-safe container prior to freezing.

pertaining to ice use, does the ice have to be crushed? I'm afraid full ice cubes will damage my unit.
I used cold spring water this morning. It was pretty cold but next time ill try ice until I can get some frozen fruit.
Hi, The NutriBullet has beenHi, The NutriBullet has been designed specifically for the purpose of making Green Smoothies by emulsifying fruits and vegetables with liquid to form a delicious and nutritious drink. For the best taste and texture, we recommend freezing your fresh fruit overnight. Blending frozen fruit will assure the most consistent texture and best taste results while also making it cold.

You can use ice in your NutriBullet but I suggest using frozen fruit over ice. I use frozen mango, strawberries, mixed berries and bananas with no issues.
This morning I put two ice cubes into my 32 oz blast and everything was fine.
I made my 32 oz morning blast with 6 ice cubes and ice cold spring water. I'm sipping on it now and it is perfectly chilled.
