It's already here, the final day of your Spring cleanse!  Were you able to stick to it?  Let us know how you feel and what you liked or didn't like about the plan.  Your comments will help us shape future NutriBlast cleanses :)

Did You Know?...

Lungs are an integral part of detoxification. If all the alveoli from both lungs were spread flat they would cover an area nearly the size of a tennis court. These guys are ready to work!

Did you know that your left and right lungs aren’t exactly the same? The lung on the left side of your body is divided into only two lobes, making room for the heart, while the lung on your right side is divided into three.

While awake or asleep we breathe an average of 12 times a minute, however during intense physical exercise, the breathing rate will increase considerably.  An average person breathes in around 11,000 litres of air every day. Each breath is an opportunity to bring in fresh oxygen and expel toxins.

Set a timer to remind you to take 3 deep breathes at least once an hour!

I was not able to do the cleanse at this time! How is everyone doing?
I have had a headache since yesterday. Not sure if that's normal. I have enjoyed all the smoothies but the toddie. I too couldn't finish all of them Happy to know its OK! I am glad I did this :) Question...my daughter is hypothyroid. I read an article this week here on the forum page saying she shouldn't be blasting with spinach or kale. What is a suitable substitute for these recipes? Thank you!
I am completing my last blast as I type. I must admit I got hungry for chewing (smile). I did get a slight headache this morning (thought that was weird, since I have gone 2 days juicing). Overall, I have enjoyed the cleanse! All of the blasts were delicious and filling! I don't have a plan for meals tomorrow and maybe that would be my suggestions; which is 'how to reintroduce solids into your body after a cleanse?' I have been following the meals in the challenge, and will probably do that. I do like how my body has released the extra fuels that I often carry. I really want to keep my fuels down. I welcome suggestions on developing a fluid elimination plan. Thank you Nutri-Blast Team! This is definitely worth the effort and your consultation is certainly appreciated!!!

Keep drinking plenty of water to flush everything out and avoid the urge to take any headache medicine. You need to somehow expel the toxins that may have been released into your blood. A light sweat, sauna or steam room, the Epsom salt bath, or a massage should help with that. Regarding the hypothyroid...we have quite a few recent articles and recipes for that..here are a few! http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/blasting-thyroid-health http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/healthiest-foods-your-thyroid http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/symptoms-thyroid-dysfunction

CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy you enjoyed the cleanse. The headache probably stemmed from your body reaching it's capacity for all the toxins you are eliminating. Try to do something that expels them - a light sweat, massage, sauna or steam room, colonic, bowel movement, Epsom salt bath. Drink plenty of water to help flush it all out! I know what you mean about missing food - I missed chewing too. But ease into it... We don't want to go back to eating heavy whole foods just yet or you may find your stomach feeling crampy. I'd suggest starting with a vegetable based soup or salad for lunch and maybe some soft hot cereal like oatmeal or quinoa for breakfast. Continue to follow the detox foods (no meat, dairy, eggs, fish, etc., no added sugar, no caffeine or alcohol). Slowly reintroduce gluten - see if you have a sensitivity to gluten or wheat when you eat it for the first time. As time progresses, you can slowly introduce more of the foods you were eating before, but keep in mind, any junk food you were eating before is best left alone :)
