I just purchased my nutribullet 900. I had watched the infomercial on HSN several months ago and they mentioned making lemon and lime ice cubes. I was trying to find a recipe. These would be great for water or to blend with a smoothie. Does anyone know how I would do this? Would I put the whole lemon and lime in the nuteibullet or peel it first? What other things would you add....maybe mint leaves?

can you put a whole lemon skin & pits into the nutribullet 900 series???

I would suggest cutting it into quarters before putting it in the 900.

Here is a cool recipe. http://shewearsmanyhats.com/2011/07/lemon-mint-ice-cubes/ I would suggest leaving out the rind as it can make your lemon mixture taste more bitter. You can always blend lemons, mint, stevia and water together in the NB and pour that mixture into ice-cube trays.
