I wanted to make a red sauce for my spaghetti squash. Does anyone have any ideas for doing this in the nutribullet?
3 medium Roma tomatoes, quartered or 2 cups (665 g, 23.5 oz) chopped
1/2 small onion, peeled, halved or about 1/4 cup (48 g, 1.7 oz) chopped
1/2 small carrot, halved or about 1/3 cup (51 g, 1.8 oz) chopped
1 Tablespoons tomato paste
1 small garlic clove, peeled
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
pinch teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water (may need a little more if ingredients are not blending together).
1. Place all ingredients into the Tall cup and twist on blade
2. Turn machine on and run for 15-20 seconds.
Pour into a saucepan. Simmer for 35-40 minutes. Serve over pasta.
