I just bought the nutribullet and had my 1st blast yesterday.  Previously my daily intake of fruits and vegetables was close to zero.  I took pepto bismol and alka seltzer everyday from all the junk I ate.  I'm supposed to take blood pressure and cholesterol drugs but I don't.  I don't do any exercises and feel unhealthy.  I hope this will help me change my health for the better.  So far the drink was okay maybe I didn't mix right.  Wish you had videos showing more steps.  So here's my questions.

Can I gain weight from all these fruits?  I hate the taste of some vegetables.  I especially hate brussell sprouts, cauliflower, aspargas, peas and Broccoli.  Should I be eating them and if so how can you mask the taste?  Also do I have to use the tall cup?  Its too much to drink!  Also what is coconut water?  Does Walmart sell it? I can't find almond milk either.  David makes it look so easy I wish he could teach me because he's so smart about what does what.  I feel lost I cannot remember what each vegetable does.  But I'm trying its just that this is so foreign to way I ate.  Big bag of tortillas with cheese dip and cookies and candy bars was typical for me as a snack along with liter of coke.  TV dinners and lots of fast food.  So its going to be tough but I hope I can do this.

I forgot to mention that I do like some vegetables just that I haven't eaten in years on regular basis such as carrots, green beans, potatoes, onions, garlic, spinach, most salad greens, radishes, cucumbers, to name a few.  So I can deal with most of the recipes I suppose just that I'd like to add some of the veggies I don't like.  Thanks for any help.

Hi John I'm new to this asHi John I'm new to this as well . . . I just tried a lemon in my blast . . this might help you. I used a small round slice maybe a 1/4 of an inch thick. . . the blast has a flavor of a mild lemonade. I also found blasting with 4 ice cubes helps me

Thanks I will try that in my next blast! I have some lemons and never thought adding ice. Will try new recipes until I find a good mix. So your suggestion is appreciated so much. Just had my morning blast and liking this more now. I'd really like to become a vegetarian and possibly a vegan but I won't push it that far yet. Good luck to you also! Whoever came up with this machine is a godsend. Cleanup is a snap.

Hey John! Welcome. Let me see if I can get to your Qs... Check out these posts on fruit and weight: http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/how-much-fruit-too-much-fruit http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/will-too-much-fruit-make-me-fat The lemon suggestion is good for masking taste. Also, cinnamon and banana are great recipe additions to help sweeten it up. The recipes are for the tall cup, but you can reduce the portions and make a small cup Blast. Coconut water is the water found in the middle of young coconuts - they sell it at most grocery stores. Most stores also sell almond milk. You can find it in the refrigerator section by the dairy milk (also by coconut milk and other milk options - these may also be in the aisles in a box form - just ask the attendant at the store to point you there). Check out our Healing Foods section for info on the various ingredients. No need to memorize anything :) Your taste buds will change over time. Be patient and just keep Blasting!!
Krista, thanks!!! For taking the time to comment on my post with all that helpful advice. Now it makes more sense after reading those articles and what you said. Only my 3rd day and already I'm feeling better. So glad I found this nutriliving site. Thanks again :)
Last night I made a drink using spinach, apple, one lemon with the rind cut off, large handful of fresh mint, coconut water...it was so good. Don't forget to add some honey
