I am new to the nutri bullet. So far my most successful drinks are heavier on fruit than veggies. I usually love beets but tried a blast with raw beets and just could not get past the earthy taste. Any tips? I used about 1/2 of a peeled raw beet and blended it with 1 mango some spinach chia seeds a few strawberries and pineapple coconut water. Are there any fruits that mask the earthy taste? I read online that freezing raw beets before blending helps but haven't tried that yet. Today's blast was delicious but heavier on the fruit (spinach 1 banana 1 orange raspberries almonds 1/2 Granny Smith apple). Looking forward to trading recipes with all of you :)

Try using frozen fruits, have a colder Blast can help improve the flavor. I really like raw beets and cacao combined together. Those flavors really compliment each other. I like 1 cup spinach, 1/2 frozen banana, 3 frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries, 1-2 small chunks of raw beet and coconut water to the max line.
