Hello! I am a newby and looking for info on juicing and gastic bypass. I had gastric bypass 10 months ago and was having trouble getting my vitamins and nutrition right. I have been using my nutribullet for about a month and my bloodwork at my Drs. visit last week came back perfect! I am not following any real recipies (just handfulls of greens and some fruit so far) so I am very excited to be here and hopefully find the best information on what will make me healthy and happy for a long time to come:)

This is amazing news! I'm so happy to hear the NutriBullet has helped. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm sure it will be inspirational for others who have undergone gastric bypass as well :)
Welcome to the forum! It is so great to have you!
Started yesterday with the detox drink. I had gastric bypass surgery 20+ years go and have been able to maintain my normal weight of 135-140. I became interested in the nutribullet because I do not eat as much fruit and greens as I get full to quickly. I had horrible diarrhea all of last night and do not know what I did wrong. I used all organic. Can you give me some advise, I am afraid to drink another one today!!!

This could be due to a sudden increase in fibrous foods that you are otherwise not used to, that you had too much, or that you have an intolerance to something that was in the NutriBlast. I'd suggest starting with smaller portions so your body has time to adjust. Start smaller and more simple with some greens, a couple fruits/veggies and a couple "boosts" like nuts, seeds or a superfood powder like raw cacao! If it continues to occur, then you'll probably want to do some detective work on what ingredient(s) might be triggering it. Let me know how it goes....
Travelgirl, Travelgirl, Congratulations on keeping weight off for so long! I get discouraged when I hear of people going through with the surgery only to gain it back. I was terrible for skipping my vitamins and knew I was not eating enough to fill my body's needs so I decided to try nutriblast. My levels are all great after only 3 weeks and I have not had any problems with diarrhea. I am only drinking 1 a day but use lots of greens and fruit. Maybe you should try only 1 fruit and 1 green at a time and work up from there. Hope you stick with it and I am so happy to see someone else with bypass posting:)
