I  made this for dinner

baby bok choy

jicama

choyote

strawberries

blackberries

ginger

pumkin

vanilla protein powder

Coconut milk

 

it tastes pretty good

I'm so happy Fall is here (or coming at least) because I LOVE Pumpkin!!
What kind of pumpkin did you use? If fresh, how do you prepare it?
I didn't use fresh. I used canned pumpkin puree
This will be my first fall with my NutriBullet(got mine in May/June)....and I am looking forward to it. Can anyone suggest any pumpkin NutriBlast/smotthie recipes you have...especially a morning one and varitions of pumplin pie or pumpkin cinnamonapple combos. Thank you!!!!

I got tired of searching for a new NutriBullet drink/smoothie recipe using pumpkin so I came up with a new one...I call it " PUMPKIN DESSERT SMOOTHIE" feel free to try it out....It's super filling and you feel like you just ate a huge piece of pie,and finished off a second dessert of a Elvis style fried pb and bananna sandwich but with only about a 1/4 of the calories!!!!!!Adjust the amounts to your liking....add vanilla,other spices if you want Ingredients: 1/2- 1 cup fresh or canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened and unsalted), 1TBS Skippy natural peanut butter w/ honey, 1/2 bananna,1 cup coconut juice ( I used FOCO),1/2 scoop unflavored soy protein powder,(or you can use vanilla),1 TBS cinnamon,1/2-1 TBS pumpkin pie spice blend Makes 2- 8 oz servings (each under 250 calories!)

1/2 cup Organic canned pumpkin or fresh baked pumpkin 1.5 cups of almond milk 1/2 frozen banana 3 dates 1 tsp pumpkin spice 1 cup spinach YUM!!

pumpkin question????....Do I need to cook fresh pumpkin meat before i use it??? If so how do i cook it and what temp and how lone, or can I microwave it???

Eating pumpkin raw may make your stomach upset since it is a high starch veggie. To cook it, you can either peel the outside, dice and steam or you can bake it or roast it in the oven.
