We've been buying the blueberry/pomegranate smoothie from McDonalds, hoping the good ingredients would outweigh anything not-so-good in the recipe.
Does NUTRILivinng offer a similar recipe (including blueberries and pomegranate) with all healthful ingredients?
You can search through our recipes section by specific ingredients, so I would check it out. I would buy the ingredients and make your own version at home, it will always be the healthier option.
Here are the ingredients for the McDonalds smoothie: Ingredients: Blueberry Puree, Water, Clarified Demineralized Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Raspberry Puree, Apple Juice Concentrate, Pomegranate Juice Concentrate, Contains 1% or Less: Natural (Plant Source) and Artificial Flavors, Cellulose Powder, Peach Juice Concentrate, Pear Juice Concentrate, Citric Acid, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Xanthan Gum, Pectin, Fruit and Vegetable Juice For Color. They also add ice and low-fat yogurt.
If you made your own it would have half the ingredients, no preservatives, stabilizers or artificial flavors.
