I could swear that when you watch the infomercial, making the Tomato Basil soup, the guy places whole tomatoes in the soup pitcher. However, when I made the recipe today the recipe book that comes with your order says to PEEL the tomatoes and to slice them. Slicing them is no big deal but have you tried to PEEL a tomato??! not easy. I did as the recipe said and yes the soup was yummy, however its not what the infomercial shows and I think that is misleading. Plus surely the tomato skin has some great nutrients that you are missing if you PEEL them. I would like to know if I really need to PEEL the tomatoes or not? Thanks!
