Hey guys

I purchased a nutribullet, so excited to use it and the first few recipes I used, the taste is not great and leaves a very nasty after taste in my mouth.

I used baby spinach, apples, pineapple and strawberrys , added water and blended and it don't taste great.

i'd appreciate any recommendations , on what I can do , to make tasty healthy drinks :)

Thanks alot

Make sure you're taking the seeds out of the apples, and I would recommend to start with the recipes from the nutribullet recipe book, once you learn about different mixtures try experimenting with your own.
I use baby spinach, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, orange, raw honey, and chia seeds. It seems to be easier to drink if it is cold so you might want to add a few ice cubes or use frozen fruit. Bananas or avocado make the drink smoother, and if you like more of a milkshake drink you might want to use Almond Milk. Don't give up!
Thanks for all your help .. Will try out your suggestions. Cheers
I also recommend using frozen fruit, it really does make a difference. You can either buy the fruit frozen (check to make sure there is no sugar added) or buy fresh fruit and freeze it. Good luck!!
You can also use stevia and raw honey to sweeten if needed. Try adding spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cumin etc. for additional flavor and antioxidant value! Healthy Wishes Wally Bishop C.N.C.
I make a large one every morning and then divide into two smaller ones, one for breakfast, one for lunch. I use spinach, kale, carrot, banana, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, pineapple small slice of ginger, lime, orange and hemp seeds. 50% veggie and 50% fruit seems to work well.
Some taste better than others. You just have to play with it and find what you like. I would start by using the small cup. My favorite so far is the Spinach, apple and lime one. I just made a pea, apple and lime and that one was great too.

Are your peas cooked or did you add them in raw? Are you talking about plain old green peas or cooked split peas? I'd love to use this tasty way to boost protein in a Blast.
I used regular frozen peas. I didn't cook them, just threw them in there. It made the blast creamy. It was really good.

Green veggies can be an aquired taste in a smoothie or blast. you can try adding a little greens at first and more fruit to build up your taste buds or some raw honey to sweeten your blasts
