NutriBlasters are always looking for new and exciting recipes to try out in their NutriBullet!  Aside from the plethora of recipes we've provided via our blog, website, facebook page, and Natural Healing Foods book, what are some good smoothie recipe books or websites that we could direct them to?

Here are two that I found; http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Smoothie-Book-Delicious-Desserts/dp/0446695793 http://www.amazon.com/500-Smoothies-Juices-Compendium-Cookbooks/dp/1416205101/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_y
Thank you Rylouise! Do you have any favorites you'd like to share?
Well, I love to experiment so every time I make a blast it's different, lol :) I have made this one a few times and it always come out delicious; Large cup- 1 banana half a cup frozen dark cherries 4 or 5 cacao beans water
That sounds delicious Rylouise, I have a hard time finding even frozen cherries here in Chicago.
Same here! When my local health food store brought in some organic ones, I stocked up and bought a few bags. You definitely don't see them all the time. I can't wait till Summer so I can throw all sorts of fresh fruit in the bullet :)
One great way to find green smoothie books is by going to amazon and typing in the word "green smoothie." A lot of interesting books come up that provide a plethora of recipes to experiment on the NB! -Scott
I found frozen cherries at Wholefoods (in NYC.). Does Chicago have Wholefoods?
Dr.Oz has a good recipe on his website that he does often. 2 cups spinach 1 -2 medium cucumber (approx 2 cups) 1 stalk celery 1/2 inch gingerroot (or 1 teaspoon) 1 bunch chopped parsley (approx 1/2 cup chopped) 2 apples, cored 1 lime, juice of 1/2 lemon, juice of 4 ounces mineral water (or a handful of ice cubes) Optional ingredients raw carrot unsweetened fruit juice banana I guess you would have to modify this to fit the tall cup. I don't find that you can get enough in it.
This sounds great jcates. We have a lot of Blasters looking for more veggie-based Blasts! Thanks for sharing.
Hello, I just found an appHello, I just found an app called "smoothies rx" for androids, not sure about apple. I have no vested interest in this app or anything. I bought a nutribullet and was stoked but wanted a few more recipes, there are something like seven hundred in this app. It will also make you a shopping list for the smoothies you chose. Thanks
Sounds like a very helpful app! Thanks for the rec gsx :)
