Hello there!

Im fairly new to Nutribullet and have been experimenting with flavours  etc. I've read lots online about foods that can aid fertility and hoped someone can share some nutribullet recipes which may help me.

Also looking to find out people's experiences with Maca.

Many thanks.

Maca does not actually contain hormones, but helps to balance hormones - so if used in this manner to help your pregnancy with a Dr.'s blessing, then it may be ok. Maca has not been tested during pregnancy so we can not know if it is completely safe for use during pregnancy. It is said the Peruvians consume maca during pregnancy with no problems; but to be safe we suggest to not use maca during pregnancy or to discuss this with your Dr. before including in your Blasts. http://natural-fertility-info.com/what-about-continuing-maca-and-flax-oil-during-pregnancy.html Infertility issues may stem from a variety of reasons. I would recommend a wonderful book for a resource called Brighton Baby by Roy Dittmann, OMD, MH. Eating a healthy diet filled with a variety of plant-based foods in general can help balance hormones and keep you at a healthy weight - all which are helpful for conception! For 7 general getting-pregnant tips, check this out from our friends at Food Matters: http://foodmatters.tv/blog-1/the-natural-infertility-answer Also, if you are open to it, yoga has been shown to be extremely beneficial for fertility. I'd suggest looking into a specific class designed for fertility. Oh and this might provide some more useful info! http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/top-5-things-avoid-healthy-pregnancy
I was wondering what Foods would help with ovulation induction and also regulating the menstrual cycle so I don't have to take progesterone just to have a period. I ordered the maca powder, which came today. It said, prop 65 could contain lead and be harmful to reproductive health? I thought this was beneficial to help with regulating the cycle. Now, unsure whether to use it or return for refund as I haven't opened it yet.

One of the key benefits of maca is its ability to boost fertility or treat infertility problems. Maca increases sex drive and can be used as a natural aphrodisiac for men and women. It does this by boosting testosterone levels and supporting healthy ovulation. Maca is very rich in many of the vitamins and minerals you need to conceive. This nutritional profile of amino acids, fatty acids, B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, iron and phytonutrients. While you also need to eat an overall nutritionally-dense diet, maca is a great way of increasing your intake of essential fuel for ovulation and conception. It’s a one-stop shop for so much that your body needs.
