Since I am still getting "content unavailable" on some of the other threads for the Spring cleanse, I started this one for feedback on the progress of our cleanse. I have NEVER done anything like this, I am a newbie to the cleanse. My husband is participating as well.

I have been using the Nutribullet once a day, sometimes twice, since mid February. While I do enjoy my morning blast, I have not seen any changes for myself on the scale. I do exercise 3x a week, but hey, at least my husband has lost 10 pounds without a single workout. GRRRRR!!!!

Day 1 Cleanse in Progress....

The Ginger tea was good and so far I have finished the first blast. Not bad, I enjoyed both. Time to get busy!

I am like you and have not seen any changes on the scale but have been having one a day for the last month. Time to push it to the next level! Ginger tea done and enjoyed. About to make the first blast then out for a run.
I hear you Sarahliz, hopefully this works for us. It's been almost two hours since the first blast (Lime) and I am hungry, I have been busy and drinking water too. Time to hit the treadmill.
Yea, I am getting thread unavailable too. I never got the recipes. :(
Just having my first morning. Blast the ginger tea was ok I think I needed to put more ginger in mine.
I have got the shopping list. But nowhere on this site do a find the menu for Day 1. Am I doing something wrong, how do a find the menu???????

At the end of the first sentence in this link, click "here" and it will lead you to the PDF. http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/topics/nutriliving-spring-cleanse If that doesn't work, I've heard that changing browsers for some makes it available. I've also outlined the recipes in the comments below the plan post. However, try to get the full document as it contains more information that you might find helpful!

I'm sorry it didn't work for you :( At the end of the first sentence in this link below, click "here" and it will lead you to the PDF. http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/topics/nutriliving-spring-cleanse If that doesn't work, I've heard that changing browsers works for some folks. I have a tomato allergy, is there something else to replace it, or just omit it? Thanks
I keep getting 'Content unavailable' which is really unfortunate. I bought everything on the shopping list!!
That link doesnt work for me either, content unavailable
Enjoyed the ginger tea and the first blast of the day was awesome! The second blast...not so much...just couldn't choke it down :( Maybe I should have left the peel on the orange - that would have been a nice strong flavour to mask some of the others or left out the turmeric???
I thought the same thing with the first couple of sips but now that I have been sipping on it, the taste is kind of growing on me, LOL. (plus I was hungry after my workout)
I just signed up and I don't know how to get the recipes
I forgot the tumeric so I liked it, thats probably why!
I left out the turmeric and still didn't like it. I drank it but I am not looking forward to having it again. I'm going to try only half coconut water and the rest regular water and maybe a little less ginger than I put in. I could only taste those two things. Hoping the next one is better!!
The turmeric drink definately had a bitter kind of funk to it but, so far I'm feeling pretty good about this. We'll see how I feel at dinner-time.

Less ginger and no turmeric may be your best bet! Remember, sometimes the things that don't taste so great, are the best for you. You're resetting your taste palet (to help reduce sugar and salt cravings) along with cleansing your body!

Sinnyme, you can find the recipes and plan here: http://www.nutriliving.com/forums/topics/nutriliving-spring-cleanse
Krista I clicked the link and it says content not available still.

Watermelon and grapefruit offer similar nutritional profiles, however I'm not sure that would be good in this particular Blast. Maybe omit the tomato and add in a bit more carrot and 1/2 of an apple (seeds and core removed). Can't guarantee the taste, but doesn't sound half bad :)

I'm not sure what the problem is, it is working for me. Some people have used a different browser and found that it works then. Maybe try that? I just reposted the recipes in the previous reply since many are having this same message pop up.
I see carrots and beets later today are they cooked or raw.

The carrots are raw and the beets, you can do either cooked or raw. If cooked, they are a bit more bearable, less overpowering to the other flavors.
I couldn't get this nd I tried all day...SO I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING US WHO COULDNT GET THE MENU!!!!!!! TY TY TY!!!!!!!!!! I WROTE IT ALL DOWN..............SO WE DO THIS ALL DAY ??? ITS ALOT OF J UICING LOL!!!!!!!!!

Really loved blast number 3!
The Nutmint blast gave me a bit of a stomach ache and a little nausea, I had to lay down for awhile but it hasn't completely passed. That blast definately curbed my appetite, I am not even ready for the next one yet. I hope this is a normal part of the process.

Sorry to hear that :( Everyone is different. Some people really need more substance to get them through the day and others prefer to stay light. You may be the latter. Feel free to do a second helping of one of your other favorites in its place tomorrow. The 1pm Blast changes so you won't have that same one again, however there are some similar ingredients in them.
Drinking water has helped and I am feeling better now, thank you. :) I am gonna keep pushing through all the recipes, I am committed to this cleanse! LOL I'm on a mission.
For the Tomato Toddie I hopeFor the Tomato Toddie I hope it's okay to add a little spice to this, it needed some love so I added a little onion powder, garlic powder and a pinch of cayenne...yum, much better.
I have not been able to view the day 1 Detox Cleanse!!!!! HELP someone...I keep getting a message saying "content unavailable" if anyone has been able to view the first detox blast can you post it ??? Thanks:)

If you scroll down this page, you will find all the recipes for day 1. :)
Made it through day one some I liked others not so much def wasn't hungery all day. These blast make so much can we split them and drink later or are we suppose to drink the whole thing, or just drink till I full?
I am starting the cleanse tomorrow (tues) and I have only made my blasts with veggies in the past,so my question is when a recipe calls for a lime or an orange is it with the peel on or off? Thanks
Day one went well and I'm ready for day two. I couldn't drink the last one last night. Don't think it was the blast I think it was just me. I couldn't stomach anymore smoothies! Today I have to pack two for the road so we will see how that goes!
Still getting content unavailable....where are the recipes??
I do not use the peel. May I ask, what is a couple of your favorite veggie only recipe?

I didn't have the last one either, I was too tired to even try and cut up melon. The Tomato Toddy actually really turned me off, that one was absolutley horrid to me. Beets, can't do it. I think I'll skip that one today! I'm very tired and foggy.

I was very tired and foggy today too, ended up going back to bed and over-slept. For the Tomato Toddy I had to add onion powder, garlic powder and a pinch of cayenne to make it drinkable. (Hopefully that doesn't change things too much) Beets are so much easier to take when they're cooked, that's the only way I use them in a smoothie.

It is a lot of substance. Just drink til you are full. The reason for so much is to get in as many calories as possible - as you see, it is still low. Drink as much as you can, but don't overload yourself.

Remove the peel - here's a handy extraction prep chart for future reference: http://nutribulletblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Extraction-Prep-Chart-web.pdf

Only drink as much as you can stomach! I wanted to provide enough substance for those who require more food. In addition, I wanted to reach a certain amount of calories, which you'll see are a bit lower than what a normal day would consist of. The last thing you want to do is tax your digestive system...so don't force anything and just drink what you can! Also, feel free to make any modifications you'd like to make them fit your taste preference. Adding in spices or herbs like Nancy did is perfectly acceptable. Good luck with Blasting on the road!
Thanks Krista The chart isThanks Krista The chart is great to have :)
I apologize if I'm being gross, but haven't noticed any increased bowel movements while doing the Spring Cleanse. Is this normal? How do I know if it is really working? I haven't noticed much difference except that I'm hungry. My husband has had many BM's . What does it mean? Does it mean he needed cleansing more or am I so toxic I need to cleanse for more than three days?

As long as you are continuing to have them, you should be fine. It may just mean that you normally have more fiber than your husband and his body is reacting to the sudden change differently than yours which has been "trained" to handle fiber more efficiently (this is just a guess!). The signs of detoxing vary for each of us. If you don't feel any different, then it could be your body didn't have a lot of built-up toxicity. Or it could mean that you may need to do a more intense detox (less NutriBlasts and maybe more pure juices?) or do it for a bit longer. Since women have more fat cells than men (fat is where toxins are stored) and our bodies are designed to hold on to fat more than in men, it may take a bit longer for your body to release those toxins. I would suggest maybe moving to 2 Blasts a day with a "clean meal" added. Check out the BASIC cleanse plan in our Cleanse forum. Basically sticking to a vegan diet with no meat, dairy and eggs. Avoiding gluten, caffeine, added sugar, soy, and alcohol. This will be a good way to continue the cleanse that is more sustainable for a longer period of time.
I wasn't able to do the cleanse yet because of a crazy schedule and not getting to the store for ingredients, but I'm still planning on doing it. I would love to hear some feedback from those of you who did do it. Have you noticed any difference in energy, sleep or weight? Any detox symptoms?
I would love to know how everyone did also!
I am really late to the game on this but quick question on the Turmeric, are you using the root or the powder? And if using the actual root how much should you use?
We used powder but you can use the root as well. If you can get the root, I would recommend using it, just play around with amounts, some people find turmeric to be a very overwhelming flavor in their blasts.
Will you please post the 3 day spring cleanse again?? So much trouble finding it to print and I lost my copy when I did it the first time....thanks
