I am looking into adding Chia seeds, maca etc...into my blasts and would like to know a reputable brand or website where I could purchase these...  Thanks in advance for your help :)

Hey Leanbean! We sell ourHey Leanbean! We sell our Superfood Superboost powder which is a combination of raw cacao, chia, goji, and maca. You can order it here: http://www.nutribullet.com/index.php?r=site/accessories If you'd like to buy them separately, then I'd recommend one of these companies. These brands are also available sometimes in Whole Foods. They may not be the cheapest, but they are the best quality I've found! http://essentiallivingfoods.com/ http://navitasnaturals.com/ Enjoy!
Thanks Krista for the website listing of Essential Living Foods and Navitas Naturals, I find them an excellent place to “get what you need” as well. -Jimii

Maca is an amazing superfood, so amazing that we included it in our Superfood Superboost blend and included it in our healing foods category: http://www.nutriliving.com/ingredients/maca-powder Camu camu or camu powder is another one of our favorite healing foods: http://www.nutriliving.com/ingredients/camu-powder along with matcha green tea: http://www.nutriliving.com/ingredients/matcha-green-tea-powder Have fun with your new superfoods and let us know if you make any creative and tasty Blasts!

I would always go for the certified organic option of hemp seeds. Baking will change some of the nutrient profile but you will not be killing anything that is good in the hemp or chia seeds. It is always best to use them raw but if you want to bake with them, that is ok as well.
Is Super Food Super Boost going to be sold on this site again?

Once we have it in stock, it will go back on the website!
I would like to know how long nutrition levels stay viable in refrigerator. I mill 1/2 cup each pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds. and use about 2 tablespoons a day in my nutri-blasts along with 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, and a handful of almonds or walnuts.

I've used info for ground flax seed since those are the ingredients that would go rancid first. Ground flaxseed is best stored refrigerated in an opaque, sealed container and will keep at least 90 days. Some choose to store ground flaxseed in the freezer for even longer shelf life - about 3 months. Others simply grind flaxseed as they use it to ensure utmost freshness. Roasted flaxseed should also be refrigerated or frozen. Flaxseed oil should be refrigerated and usually has an expiration date about four months after pressing. http://www.flaxcouncil.ca/english/index.jsp?p=faq

Traecy thanks for letting us know! Tips are always helpful. healthy Wishes Wally
I order from Swanson vitamin co alot. Also i have found several god sites just searching using whichever add on you are looking to purchase..such as chia seeds,or goji berries. Also ebay has a lot of health products hidden in the zillions of items they offer.
Does anyone here use vitamin supplements separately from doing NutriBlasts? I atke chitosan, garcinia cambogia, a thyroid supplement, triphala, and sometimes cla. What do you take, what works for you???? Im taking these for help with weight/fat loss, and for improving my general health.
Does anyone know how I should prepare raw pumpkin seeds (fresh) to use in Blasts? The ones I purchase in the store that say raw pumpkin seeds are greenish brown colored. When you oven roast fresh ones they stay basically white or slightly tan. I love making fresh pumpkin puree for smoothies and to mix in oatmeal, and other stuff. I know pumpkin seeds are good to use too but I don't know why they aren't the same color!!! The ones from the fresh pumpkins are raw, roasted without oil like the store bought ones...but the color difference has me wondering.
Try Nuts.com. Great prices & service, plenty of organic & gluten free items for your blasts.

You can Blast raw pumpkin seeds straight out of the pumpkin or you can roast them and then Blast them. The reason the ones in the store are green is because they have the outer white shell removed. When you make them at home you leave that shell on. If you were to peel off the shell of each pumpkin seed and them roast them, they would turn that green color you see in the supermarket. Great question!
When I bought my first nutribullet I bought a container of Superfood in a white container and small scoop. I thought it was for energy and aging but it had a slightly chocolate taste. I cannot find it anywhere on here to purchase and I threw the container away when it was empty. Does anyone recognize the description or know where I can get some?

That was our first version, which we no longer sell. I would suggest trying out the Superfood SuperBoost which has the same chocolatey flavor, will give you energy and has anti-aging properties.
