Breakfast is the one meal I always miss it's either the dog turns off the alarm, the power goes out, squirrel eats the plug wires.. Hamster gets tired of running in the wheel which recharges the battery. You know how it goes right?

Ok ok.. I skip it... I'm a late sleeper and I never want to get up till that last minute.

Thankfully the Nutribullet has changed this horrible habit and here is my new breakfast!

-

1c mixed baby spinache & kale
*1 heaping tbsp ground almonds
*1 heaping tbsp ground goji berries
2 heaping tbsp ground flax seed with various dried fruits mixed in. (pre ground)
3 frozen strawberries (sliced)
1/2 bananna (sliced)
8-10 frozen blueberries (crushed)
8-10 frozen raspberries (crushed)
either 1/4 apple or 1/4 orange
coconut water

-

** used the milling blade to grind both together: used 1/2c each and ziplock baggied the remainder.

-

I love using pure coconut water instead of spring water in the morning.

-

This did take a few tries to get everything to fit but once I got to chopping/crushing it fit just fine.

-

Best thing is that I can put most of this in the tall cup the night before and pop it in the fridge for the morning. 30sec later and I have the breakfast that I've been missing..

Thank you NB!

This weekend I want to work out something for lunch along the lines of a spicy bloody mary/v8 with jalapeno or habanero, tomato, carrot, celery, beets, some black & cayenne pepper, little fresh garlic and a touch of olive oil, cucumber, lemon..  I think it will need some kind of nut so i'll try some pistachio's in there. Will see how that goes.

Happy blasting all!
