Here's one I am working on, and liked today:

--------------

spinach

red bell pepper

celery

a couple of baby crrots

a handful of grape tomatoes

hot sauce  (1-2 tbsp)

pepper

chia or hemp seeds (tbsp)

fill with water to the max line

--------------

Thoughts?  I think it is as close to a "V-8" style drink that I have made so far- I liked it.

Wow! Sounds great !! How doesWow! Sounds great !! How does celery do in a smoothie? Do all the fibers get chopped up? (I guess I have a "thing" with fibers.....)

I've used celery and it blends up just fine. I do cut it into some smaller pieces. I don't use too much though because celery flavor tends to be a bit overpowering depending on what else you put in your Blast.
Yes, the celery needs to be cut up a little more. I like it. The tabasco/hot sauce is needed for me, but I don't think that's too unhealthy!
Ericws, I use cayenne powder. Peppers are very healthy for us. Healthy wishes Wally Bishop C.N.C.
Wally- Thanks! I will try that in place of the hot sauce.
That must have a nice kick to it? I've never been down the "spicy" nutriblast route before! May have to venture down that road when I feel comfortable! Thanks for the idea!
Scott- I love 'em. It is a perfect "lunch" for me. I like the different tastes for my blasts- heavy on the fruits at breakfast and more veggie-/spicy at lunch. Today I am subbing in cayenne pepper as recommended by Wally!
my "V8" tomato celery carrot spinach beets ginger water you can add flax and/or chia seeds to make it more of a meal I like the pepper idea
Before I bought my Nutribullett I was juicing now and again with a cheap juicer that I had for years but only ever used it now and then. But I do remember feeling the same about celery, being overpowering, and I've been reluctant to try again. But as you say ... perhaps with the right mix it may be good.
I will definately be trying this one this afternoon, but will add some jalapeno pepper for heat. Thanks for the idea. I have a ton of tomatoes I need to use up
I have used the celery tops in mine, that works well also
