How can I alter recipes for my type 2 diabetes?

I just recently received my NutriBullet and am excited about getting started.  However, I am concern that most recipes in the book call for  50% vegetables and 50% fruit.  Most fruit raise blood sugars level.  Can you tell me how to alter these recipes.

As stated, I am type 2 diabetic and am taking oral medications.

Thanks for your help

You can alter recipes by using low glycemic index fruits like apples, pears, grapefruit, peaches, apricots, cherries, figs and berries. I would also test out a Blast and see if it in fact raises your blood sugar. We have a ton of diabetic customers that are surprised that the Blasts do not actually raise their blood sugar. Since they are high in fiber and healthy fats if you add chia and hemp seeds, blood sugars seem to stay more consistent.

okay I use chia seeds in all my blasts, I also pay close attention to how much fruit I use... especially bananas... I try to only use small bananas but If I get a large one I only use half of it... I have been type 2 diabetes free for 2 years now.... but I don't take any chances I still eat as though I still have it... rather be safe than sorry...
