We have so much info on Diabetes on this site...I suggest you take some time to learn and explore. I'm supposed to eat 45 card counts a day. That equals up to 15 per meal. Not including 3 for my snacks . My question is when I eat and drink when I drink a drink do you count 1 apple and 15 carb counter and so on example plum 15 carb counter.
Hi there! Here's an article that gives you a solid foundation on carb counting. Diabetes educator Jeannene states a tennis ball-sized serving of fruit (or about 8 ounces) is roughly 15 carbs, so use that as a basis for measuring or talk to your personal doctor or diabetes educator to learn more about the specific serving sizes that are right for you! :)
