Which recipe is best for high cholesterol and low vitamin D?

I am new to Nutribullet. I got food recipe book but i am not sure which recipe is best for me and my husband. My husband is having high cholesterol, very low vitamin D and B12. I have been recently diagnose with positive ANA - Antinuclear antibodies, my hands especially my fingers muscle pain a lot. I also have high cholesterol and low vitamin D. We both are 36 year old. I highly appreciate your advise.

We have some great recipes on this site for heart health in addition to the ones in the Natural Healing Foods book. Submit a search for "cholesterol" to find articles, recipes and healing foods. Almost anything you put in a NutriBlast will benefit you. These foods are filled with fiber and antioxidants...two important components to help reduce cholesterol. Focus on soluble fiber - this type binds "bad" LDL cholesterol to help remove it from your body! Oats, apples and flax seed are great additions to a cholesterol-lowering NutriBlast. Grapes, strawberries, and citrus fruits also contain pectin, a type of soluble fiber most noted in apple skins, that lowers LDL. Check out this link from Harvard that distinguishes the breakdown of fiber found in several foods. Outside of NutriBlasting, I'd recommend cutting back on red and processed meats as these contain saturated fats and additional dietary cholesterol that may increase blood cholesterol levels. With continuous NutriBlasting...over time, you two will more than likely see your numbers drop :)
Not many foods contain vitamin D and of the ones that do, eggs and fish are the best sources. Often those living in areas that do not get much sunshine require a supplement or to increase foods that are fortified with vitamin D. Most dairy alternatives and often times orange juices contain this vitamin added to it. B12 is only in animal-based foods so for those following a vegan diet, they must consume fortified foods or take a dietary supplement. Please discuss supplementation dosages with your Dr.
While I cannot speak to any foods that will "cure" the ANA, I will say that this site contains recipes that help with reducing inflammation and pain. Here are some good articles and a couple recipes:
