Cocoa is not really a suitable substitution. While the flavor is similar, cocoa is highly processed and packed with preservatives and unnatural sweeteners. Cacao is raw and full of antioxidants not found in baking cocoa. Instead, try another superfood like maca powder, which provides a malty, nutty flavor. Try finding cacao or maca online. If this still isn't an option, I'd skip the cacao altogether.
